The 2008 Midwest Arts Conference in Kansas City was another resounding success, thanks to the efforts of our outstanding leadership and the energy and productivity of our fantastic attendees. Our sincere thanks go out to everyone who contributed to this year’s event, including our Conference co-chairs, Host Committee co-chairs and members, all of our sponsors, New Colleague Connection co-chairs and mentors, session leaders, and Volunteer Liaison and on-site volunteers.

We also thank all of you who took the time to provide us with your valuable feedback via the Conference evaluations and showcase surveys, face-to-face conversations in Kansas City, the Saturday brunch discussions, and post-Conference phone calls and e-mails. We sincerely listen to your thoughts and concerns, and we really do read every last evaluation response! Your contributions are more important than ever as all of us are working to assimilate the rapid changes and challenges inherent in our field, especially with regard to the economic challenges of recent months and the constant transformations in technology.
