What Is It?

Big Field Fund Project Grants support the public realization of collaborative, experimental, and artist-led visual arts projects. Priority is given to projects that advance new models for presenting art, support under-resourced creative communities, engage vulnerable or overlooked resources and ecologies, or pursue work that may not qualify for traditional funding. Grant funds support public-facing projects such as exhibitions, performances, installations, workshops, screenings and publications.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must be at least 18 years old; reside and plan to produce the project within the 35 counties proximate to Iowa City and in the state of Iowa (additional collaborators may live elsewhere); have an active artistic practice.
