A one-time, unrestricted award designed to support individual emerging artists in the early phases of their creative journeys. This grant invests in artists who are developing or launching a specific creative project and/or pursuing career-advancing opportunities that will move their work to the next level and is intended to encourage fresh, innovative, provocative, and boundary-pushing work across all artistic disciplines.

Emerging artists working in any discipline. Artists should live or work in South Dakota or the nine Native Nations located in South Dakota. Applicant must be the primary creator and decision-maker for the proposed project.
