What Is It?

A one-time unrestricted award designed to support emerging arts organizations in South Dakota that use creativity as a tool for connection, access, and community impact. This grant will invest in an organization that engages underserved populations through the arts and strengthens the local arts ecosystem by bringing people together, fostering belonging, and expanding access to arts experiences. Applicants may propose programs, initiatives, or operational projects.

Who Can Apply?

Open to emerging arts organizations, collectives, and community-based groups in South Dakota or the nine Native Nations located in South Dakota. Organizations do NOT need to be a 501(c)(3). Fiscal sponsorship is NOT required.
