Arts Midwest is now accepting applications for the GIG Fund. Through this grant, Midwestern organizations may request up to $4,000 to contract with a professional artist and offer activities to their community. If you’re part of a small to medium-sized Midwestern non-profit that wants to host performing and visual arts activities between November 2023 to June 2024, read on!

What’s New This Year?
For this application round, we’ve made a few important changes to the GIG Fund to help these grants reach as many communities across the Midwest as possible:
-
1
We’re now offering a flexible grant award.
Organizations can apply for any amount between $2,000 and $4,000.
-
2
To apply for this round, your organizational budget must be below $1 million.
The goal of the GIG Fund is to support small to mid-size organizations. We introduced this threshold for the current cycle after conversations with our state arts agencies about how we can ensure these funds support activities across our region.
-
3
Priority will be given to organizations who have not received a GIG Fund award in the last two years.
We are hoping to spread around the available grant dollars and support organizations that haven’t received funding recently.
