Aleeh Schwoerer (she/her) joined Arts Midwest in August 2023, and is the Development Manager. Before that, she was the Manager of Grants & Sponsorships at the Madison Symphony Orchestra in Madison, WI. She also currently works in the ticket office at the Overture Center for the Arts (Madison, WI), and is a board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Madison Chapter.
At Arts Midwest, Aleeh Schwoerer spends her days preparing and fine-tuning grant and funding proposals with an intentional focus on clearly communicating the mission and vision of Arts Midwest. Additionally, she helps steward relationships by providing proper recognition of support, timely acknowledgement of support, and preparing accurate and meaningful final reporting. She works with a variety of departments at Arts Midwest to collaborate on informed and impactful funding proposals and final reporting. She does this by using her skills in grant/proposal writing, cross-department collaboration, and time management gained through her varied work experiences.

She is creatively energized by watching live performances at small and large venues and is a subscriber at the Overture Center for the Arts. Exploring the offerings of local, national, and international artists who visit Madison is one reason she loves living in the area. When Aleeh isn’t working, she can be found attending shows or enjoying local restaurants with her partner, spending time with her dog, cooking for herself and others, and traveling to visit family and friends.
