In 2021-22, Olney Theatre’s National Players (NP), the longest-running classic touring company in the U.S., will perform A MIDSUMMER NIGHT?S DREAM. MIDSUMMER will engage students with limited access to live theatre in urban, suburban, and rural communities. NP will also conduct pre- and/or post-show discussions and workshops on acting, stage combat, Shakespeare’s text, and playwriting. OTC will film MIDSUMMER to accompany online workshops, if the COVID-19 crisis should limit live performance.
