QTG will produce THE WINTER’S TALE (TWT), with 5 matinees for 675 students from 9 middle/high schools in NW Philadelphia in Fall 2021.
Our version of TWT will lean into magical and comedic aspects of the play, and utilize clear performances, modern dress, and bare staging, to illuminate Shakespearean language and ideas for students.
All students will participate in post-show talkbacks. 19 classrooms will receive 4 in-school Shakespeare workshops; 1 school will have a semester-long residency.
