Garvey Tubman Cultural Arts and Research Center plans on providing a “Black Artist Matter” event for the month of August 2021 at the Dim Art House 1613 S MacArthur Blvd, Springfield, IL, 62704. As a community organization, we plan to support by offering 16 artist stipends out of the GIG grant proposal the musicians (6) are professional(5) professional artists (7 artists intotal) (2) published poets (5 poets in total)
