Jabari Dreams of Freedom is a play that will be performed for students from grades 3-8. It uses history, rap, freedom songs, dance, live video and projections and humor to explore what it means to have the courage to effect positive change in a world that is not always safe. Both in person and livestream options will connect history, civil rights, visual arts, technology and music with artistic ideas dealing with societal, cultural and historical content to deepen understanding in a relevant, age appropriate way.
