Mike Wiley is a North Carolina-based actor and playwright whose compelling works of documentary theatre yield powerful journeys through milestones and turning points of a shared American history. Through this performance and subsequent talk-back, MAC hopes to inspire dialog to begin to peel layers and barriers to building true community. The event will take place at the Monroe Arts Center which is 100% accessible. It is our plan to also make tickets available to local students, as well as economically underserved individuals/families who might desire to attend. Audience members will also be provided with a discussion guide to facilitate conversation with friends and family members outside of the performance. It is our hope that when the curtain comes down on this performance, the experience will have far from ended with the discussion just beginning.
