SDPB (South Dakota Public Broadcasting) is South Dakota’s statewide public broadcasting network. SDPB is a vital community resource producing and broadcasting high-quality, commercial-free programs and valuable community outreach projects that educate, enlighten and entertain.
As part of the Creative Midwest Media Cohort, SDPB aims to expand arts coverage of their premier daily local news and culture program “In the Moment with Lori Walsh.” They plan to do this with impactful social media storytelling and in-depth conversations with artists. In this process, they seek to diversify their arts features to reflect the full range of artists and art in SD, with a focus on BIPOC and rural artists, and diverse art-forms.
