National Endowment for the Arts Announces $4.7 Million in Midwestern Arts Funding

The National Endowment for the Arts has announced nearly $36.8 million in arts funding to organizations and artists across the United States. Recipients are from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C.


The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has announced grants totaling $4,730,500 to organizations in the Midwest.

Recipients include 216 organizations and individuals from Arts Midwest’s region, recommended in the categories of Grants for Arts ProjectsChallenge AmericaResearch Grants in the Arts, and Research Labs.

Also included in this announcement are grants to individuals for Literature Fellowships, which include Creative Writing Fellowships in prose and fellowships to support translation projects.
