Jay Gabler is a writer and editor living in Duluth, Minnesota. He is arts and entertainment reporter for the Duluth News Tribune, and co-editor of pop culture and creative writing blog The Tangential. Raised in St. Paul and Duluth, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and graduate degrees, including a Ph.D. in sociology, from Harvard University. He has published books on topics including literary criticism, social science, and Minnesota travel.
