Khaila Carr

Gif of two interchanging headshots of a person of medium light skin tone, long dark hair, wearing small hoop earrings and a black shirt with a tattoo above the neckline. In one headshot their hair is down, in the other it's pulled back.

Khaila Carr is a Columbus-based artist whose work is influenced by color, psychedelia, grass, and glitter. Khaila makes work through the lenses of being a Queer, Filipino -American woman. She often explores themes within her dreams, love and relationships, sexual and mental health, spirituality, and of course… life as a dog mom. Khaila believes in the power of autobiographical work as a means of storytelling and community building through her reflected personal experiences.
