    Indy Convergence

    Indy Convergence’s ArtsHERE grant will support the development of a strategic community engagement plan to better understand barriers impacting access to the arts and identify new value-aligned partnerships. Indy Convergence is an arts and community-based nonprofit that connects artists, communities, and their environment. They offer artist residencies, collaborative workshops, and community-focused programming that foster innovative experiences, ideas, and solutions.

    South Sudanese Foundation

    South Sudanese Foundation (SSF)’s ArtsHERE grant will support their initiative to expand culturally grounded arts programs and develop a strategic framework for sustainable fundraising, enhancing community engagement and long-term impact. The mission of SSF is to create a transformative community in Fargo-Moorhead where everyone thrives together. Since the pandemic, SSF has grown significantly, addressing the increasing needs of the refugee and New American immigrant population through high-quality programs and services.

    Free Spirit Media

    Free Spirit Media’s ArtsHERE grant will fund a "Reimagining Evaluation" project to create new evaluation tools rooted in storytelling, reflection, social justice, and equity. Free Spirit Media partners with young storytellers to transform media and society, with programming that focuses on community-building, skill-sharing, and career and education pathways that support young people to envision and build their futures within the media industry and beyond.

    ArtMix

    ArtMix's ArtsHERE grant will support strategic planning as they continue their growth and expansion. It will also support ASL and Spanish language training for staff as demand for their programs continues to grow. ArtMix transforms the lives of people with disabilities through the creation of art. They serve more than 7,000 people of varying abilities through instructional art classes, arts-based workforce development, artist residencies and opportunities to sell, display, view, and purchase artwork

  • South Asia Institute

    San Francisco based, Indian classical musician Alam Khan will perform a solo concert at South Asia Institute. Alam will also lead an "Open Orchestra" performance featuring all Chicago based musicians who will attend several Indian classical music workshops and open rehearsals with Alam Khan. The community based "Open Orchestra" performance will be open to all and free to the public.

  • Railroad Tracks Music Academy

    We are organizing a community concert series that brings together world-renowned artists to celebrate Jazz, Blues, Hip Hop, and Soul, featuring educational workshops and performances accessible to all, including underserved communities.

  • Pure Winds

    Pure Winds, in collaboration with Detroit Harmony, will organize visits to David Ellis Academy, Detroit Edison Academy, and Detroit Prep Academy during May 2025 to introduce 5th grade students to instruments from the woodwind and brass families. After the visits, Detroit Harmony will host an evening instrument fitting event where students can actually try out instruments.

  • Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis, Inc.

    The Philharmonic Orchestra provides a venue for a wide range "orchestral voices" by supporting works by contemporary composers of orchestral works. This composer residency will introduce Michigan-based trans classical composer Jordan Jinsoko to Indianapolis through workshops and an evening conversation in partnership with Trinity Haven, a service provider for young LGBTQ+ adults.

    ORMACO

    Highlighting music of the Caribbean, ORMACO's fall 2024 World Tour of Music Residency will provide hands-on experience for incarcerated youth, concerts in rural schools and community homes, and culminate in a concert that is open to the public.

  • The Movement Project

    The Movement Project will present our 9th annual Cleveland Dance Fest, a 3-day festival featuring new works by dance artists in northeast Ohio, the regional midwest, and beyond in 4 concerts for professional artists at all stages of their careers, 1 concert for pre-professional artists 12-18, a virtual dance film platform, and master classes for youth/professional dancers.
