The Centralia Cultural Society’s Arts and Education program will present Buckets N Boards, an established comedy percussion group that is known for its performances and educational outreach. The group will present two in-person performances to an overall audience of approximately 1,300 schoolchildren and members of the general public in an ADA accessible auditorium. Improvisational audience interaction is incorporated into the performances to explore and encourage the creativity of all attendees. The Cultural Society’s service area is generally considered rural, low-income and underserved. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Centralia’s population is approximately 12,000 and 23.8% of residents live in poverty.
