ASP seeks funding to work with 500 students from 10 schools to explore As You Like It, tackling language, character, and themes, and exploring identity and intersectionality via both the text and casting. Schools will receive 1-2 workshops or an extended residency; complimentary tickets to a student matinee with a post-show discussion; a pre-show packet; and an invitation for staff to ASP?s Teacher Institute. A percentage of the grant will support production costs for our student matinee series.
