About

African-American Shakespeare Company’ss mission is to bring Shakespeare’s work to diverse communities of color. Richard II will be no different with the imagination of combining Shakespeare poetic words with a poetry drive spoken word performance. Our contemporary version of this Richard II will center within a BiPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community for a contemporary audience. Performance will be planned for streaming/recording, with a budget option for in-person audience.
