Building on our robust Slam Poetry program, and the programming from the 20-21 Juvenile Justice grant, Alley Theatre will deepen its relationship with Harris County Juvenile Probation Department and students at their Youth Village facility. Here we will utilize the aesthetic distance provided by Shakespeare and explore the choices and consequences made by Macbeth?s title characters. Students’ performance and visually based work will culminate in an on-site performance and exhibition.
