Delaware Shakespeare proposes offering a series of acting classes held at Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services (DYRS) facilities between September 2022 and July 2023. The classes will focus on exploring Shakespeare’s texts and facilitating youth expression through Shakespeare, either by performing Shakespeare’s words or by the creation of short work inspired by Shakespeare’s text. Throughout, youth will make connections between Shakespeare’s plays and their own lives.
