McIntosh Memorial Library will partner with two artists: Greg Leighton and Calvin Morris and Friends. The intent of the project is to provide access to the arts for our senior population, especially residents of nursing homes or care centers where COVID-19 has kept them very isolated. Greg Leighton will travel to five senior living facilities between July and September to perform an outdoor music show for the residents. Calvin Morris and Friends will perform one show between July and October for the residents of Bethel Oaks, a Viroqua based facility specifically designed for individuals with dementia, and a second show for clients of the Vernon County Aging and Disability Resource Center.
