UW-Milwaukee dance professor Ishmael Konney, a native Ghanaian performer, choreographer, and musician, will present a public performance, master classes, and educational activities to the Milwaukee community. His multidisciplinary performances are, in his words, “an abstraction of traditional and contemporary Ghanaian music and dance.” His residency will greatly enrich KTDC’s artistic repertoire.
