In 2022-23, Olney Theatre Center’s National Players (NP) will tour MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, performed by an ensemble of Black artists. NP engages students who face barriers to live theater by traveling to schools, arts centers, and prisons in urban and rural communities. The ensemble introduces many students to their first live experience of Shakespeare, fosters conversation on how Shakespeare’s works connect to their lives, and cultivates creative skills through interactive workshops.
