Pillsbury House Theatre will partner with Mankwe Ndosi, one of our 2021 Socially-Engaged Artist Fellows. Ms. Ndosi is a Culture Worker, Musician, and Composer. Music with the Ancestors (MwA) will be a twice weekly open acoustic music and expression session for neighbors in and around George Floyd Square, 38th and Chicago in Minneapolis, held at the Say Their Name Cemetery. MwA will be an intergenerational healing space. 4 youth leaders will learn how to produce and promote a neighborhood event, will help with flyering, and outreach to other young musicians, or creatives in the neighborhood.
