STC seeks support for its annual student matinee arts education program. This program provides free and subsidized tickets for students from DC-metro area schools, curriculum guides, in-school workshops, and post-show talkbacks. While the pandemic and corresponding health and safety restrictions make projections challenging, we anticipate reaching at least 125 students with 4-6 matinees of Shakespeare?s “Much Ado About Nothing” and “The Merchant of Venice.”
