STC will offer the opportunity to students in grades 8-12 from DC, Virginia, and Maryland to attend a matinee of a Shakespeare play produced by the Shakespeare Theatre Company, either for free or at substantially reduced cost. Participants receive free transportation to and from the theatre, an in-class workshop taught by one of STC’s professional Teaching Artists to discuss the play and prepare students for the production, and a post-performance “talkback” with the cast.
