Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA) requests $25,000 to support its World Theatre Project (WTP) educational residencies and student matinee performances associated with the Theatre’s 2022 production of Shakespeare’s THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, directed by Arin Arbus and featuring John Douglas Thompson as Shylock, which will serve approximately 1,100 students and teachers in grades 5 to 12 who are underserved by such programs in a minimum of ten New York City Public Schools.
