Shakespeare at Notre Dame continues working with DePaul Academy, a secure residential program housed in the Juvenile Justice Center in South Bend, and serving male youth aged 14-18. Named by the students themselves, members of The Shakespeare Squad take for-credit classes, rehearse, and train for a final performance given for fellow students, families, and guests. Productions have included the poetry of Langston Hughes and scenes from A Midsummer Night?s Dream, Macbeth, and Julius Caesar.
