    Eastern Connecticut State University will partner with public libraries, local schools, and regional environmental nonprofits to engage families, school-aged and university students. Innovative programming will connect regional community members with the arts, humanities, and environmental science themes offered by The Bear by Andrew Krivak. Program Dates: September 1, 2024 - May 1, 2025

  • Valley Shakespeare festival

    A touring production to schools of "Much Ado About Nothing", highlighting what happens when we allow gossip or misinterpretation of facts to lead our lives. This will be targeted to a 13-18 year-old-population, and coincides with our Free summer production of "Love's Labors Lost" (July)

  • Hartford Stage

    More than 2,800 young patrons will attend daytime student matinees of ROMEO AND JULIET and participate in guided classroom activities designed to help them explore the show’s language, historical context, and production elements. Hartford Stage serves middle and high school students from schools (more than half Title I) across the Hartford area and surrounding region, including NY and MA.
