ArtMix's ArtsHERE grant will support strategic planning as they continue their growth and expansion. It will also support ASL and Spanish language training for staff as demand for their programs continues to grow. ArtMix transforms the lives of people with disabilities through the creation of art. They serve more than 7,000 people of varying abilities through instructional art classes, arts-based workforce development, artist residencies and opportunities to sell, display, view, and purchase artwork

The Point Theater
The Point Theater, a youth theater for students between the ages of 4 and 18, plans to collaborate with a professional black set designer for two main stage shows, with set construction by Marian University theater students. This project provides practical experience for the college students and includes a workshop where the designer discusses his creative process with the youth actors.

Lubeznik Center for the Arts
Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) will provide three compelling hands-on workshops. A Long Walk Home, a national art organization that empowers young people to end violence against girls & women, will lead the creation of a Black Girlhood Altar. The other, with Chicago-based artist & educator Rhonda Wheatley, will help participants recognize, strengthen, & trust their intuitive abilities.

SPACE: Supporting Playwrights and Creative Expression
Three Artists of SPACE, a playwright, movement artist and director intend to work with the 50 year old Noble County Community Theater to conduct workshops and create a devised performance that addresses a local conflict/concern. The workshops will culminate in a final performance and talk back session. Workshop participants will gain the tools to create new community-centered work in the future.

Southern Indiana Taiko Inc
Southern Indiana Taiko will bring world renowned professional taiko drummers Tiffany Tamaribuchi and Eddie Yates to rural Columbus, Indiana to conduct a three day workshop for Southern Indiana Taiko performers and students. The workshop will focus on ergonomically correct taiko techniques and both artists will be featured in an open to the public community performance.

Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis, Inc.
The Philharmonic Orchestra provides a venue for a wide range "orchestral voices" by supporting works by contemporary composers of orchestral works. This composer residency will introduce Michigan-based trans classical composer Jordan Jinsoko to Indianapolis through workshops and an evening conversation in partnership with Trinity Haven, a service provider for young LGBTQ+ adults.

Indianapolis Jazz Foundation
Indianapolis Jazz Foundation (IJF) will feature jazz trumpeter Pharez Whitted as guest artist with the Indianapolis Jazz Collective, a resident jazz ensemble, in a public concert celebrating the legacy of the legendary Hampton Family. Whitted will also perform and provide a workshop at the Freddie Hubbard Memorial Jazz Band Fest, a showcase event for area high school jazz students.
