Healing Broken Circles' ArtsHERE grant will support the creation of new collaborative partnerships, upgrading communications materials, and increasing staff technical skills in event production and promotion. Healing Broken Circles provides opportunities to heal, learn, and thrive for those of us impacted by the justice system, through programs and events that offer creative outlets, social-emotional support and opportunities to deepen societal awareness of the destructive impacts of mass incarceration

Marion Voices Folklife + Oral History's ArtsHERE grant will support a solidarity-building listening tour across North-Central Ohio engaging allied arts & culture organizations to share strategies & grow a regional folklife network, plus updates to their strategic plan & website as they expand their work regionally. Marion Voices is a folklife & cultural arts organization committed to social justice. Partnering directly with community culture-keepers in Marion County, they offer K-12 folk arts programs, exhibits, festivals, folklife documentation, and more to grow more just, more abundant cultural arts livelihoods across diverse communities.

Presented as part of our 100th Anniversary Season, the Juneteenth Festival of New Plays will offer playwriting and acting workshops facilitated by professional teaching artists, culminating in public performances of new works. The project will promote racial healing, remove economic barriers to the arts, and empower local artists with the tools to advance their artistic expression.

The Movement Project will present our 9th annual Cleveland Dance Fest, a 3-day festival featuring new works by dance artists in northeast Ohio, the regional midwest, and beyond in 4 concerts for professional artists at all stages of their careers, 1 concert for pre-professional artists 12-18, a virtual dance film platform, and master classes for youth/professional dancers.

OhioDance (OD) will hold its annual statewide festival, Friday, April 25-Sunday, April 27, 2025 at, and cosponsored by, The Ohio State University Department of Dance in Columbus. The festival hires over 130 artists, highlights 16 professional performances, films, as well as over 35 dance sessions and demonstrations; and 50% of the performing artists hired are from marginalized communities.

Highlighting music of the Caribbean, ORMACO's fall 2024 World Tour of Music Residency will provide hands-on experience for incarcerated youth, concerts in rural schools and community homes, and culminate in a concert that is open to the public.

"Honey for the Heart", an annual community art project, transforms the City of Athens’ Halloween season to an all-inclusive family and community-friendly event. Passion Works seeks support for a new production coordinator to lead and guide student groups and community volunteers in the creation of masks, costumes and large-scale puppets for the 13th annual artmaking project and parade.

We are seeking funding to support the creation of "Rodeo Reimagined", taking Agnes deMille's "Rodeo" and making it the first classic masterpiece to be reimagined for a physically integrated company composed of dancers with and without disabilities.

Literary Cleveland will bring four authors to Cleveland, Ohio, to participate in free public readings as well as writing masterclasses designed to amplify the stories of underrepresented communities, increase access to high quality literary opportunities, and address cultural redlining and segregation.
