  • Cincinnati Youth Choir

    Cincinnati Youth Choir has provided transformative choral arts experiences in a welcoming space for 31 years. Acclaimed choral conductor and pedagogue Dr. Anthony Trecek-King will serve as artist-in-residence for our 32nd season, helping create new artistic goals, creative performances, collaborations, and unique programming that will launch our multiple programs into the future of choral music.

  • Summermusik (Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra)

    Summermusik (Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra) presents Navajo pianist and Cincinnati native Connor Chee (www.connorchee.com) for a festival highlighting the importance of water to Indigenous cultures through music and storytelling coinciding with World Water Day (March 22 annually)

  • Cleveland Classical Guitar Society

    Classical guitarist Jorge Caballero will present a concert and school outreach of music based on African American spirituals. The program includes a symphonic arrangement, a neglected masterwork, and a newly commissioned work.

  • Federal Valley Resource Center (FVRC)

    FVRC will host two concerts followed by live interviews of the performing musicians. One concert will feature regional musician Brandon Reisig, and the other North Carolina’s Hearts Gone South. FVRC will also host a day long, hands-on, community workshop making traditional musical instruments led by Ojibwe and Potawatomi artists Sonja and Jefferson Ballew.

  • ArtSpace/Lima

    Courtney Owens is a celebrated poet whose work has been featured in numerous literary journals and anthologies. Known for her ability to capture complex emotions and experiences in her writing, Owens will use her words to inspire young voices at Unity Elementary School, nurturing the next generation of poets.

  • Belmont Eastmont Hearthstone Community Council

    Arts Midwest Gig funds are being requested to assist the Community Council in hiring an Appalachian artist to paint a mural in East Dayton, celebrating the community's history and diversity. The artist will work with Montgomery Preparatory Academy, Belmont High School students, and community volunteers to create a mural that contains a QR code connected to personal stories and histories.

  • Black Swamp Arts Festival

    Free, accessible, and culturally enhancing concert open to all with performing artist question & answer meet and greet to follow.

  • Brite Winter

    Now entering its 16th year, Brite Winter continues its commitment to highlighting local and regional artists and musicians during a one-day outdoor winter festival. This application seeks support for an Art Director, whose job description includes bringing to life the annual theme; designing and constructing large-scaled outdoor installations; and leading community-based art workshops.

  • Buckeye Book Fair

    Buckeye Book Fair located in rural Wayne County hosts a short artist residency at the local schools. Andy J. Pizza uses music and theater to teach creativity and self-love. During the residency, Andy empowers students to see obstacles as opportunities for creative growth.

  • Heather Moore

    Heather Moore is one of nine winners of the 2024 Midwest Award for Artists with Disabilities. This award is designed to support accessibility in the arts and celebrate the exceptional work of disabled Midwestern visual artists.
