Crystal Celeste Price (pronounced Crístal, she/her/hers and ella) is a Program Manager and has been working at Arts Midwest since 2022. As a program manager and arts-based educator, Crystal has over a decade of experience managing international and community-centered projects. To give a few examples of her experiences she participated as an artist in residence at the Art Forum Rhee in 2012, organized a mural project at Colegio Indigena Shiroles in 2016, and led the Global Youth Exchange Program at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in 2020. Earning her Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification in 2024, Crystal deepens the impact of her work through deliberate project life cycle development, relationship-building and strategic evaluation practices.

At Arts Midwest, Crystal currently oversees Midwest Culture Bearer Award, Walking Together, National Leaders of Color and Jazz Road. She spends her days collaborating on regional and national programs with internal and external stakeholders, thinking critically about the roles and responsibilities of philanthropic intermediaries, and developing creative resources in an effort to create a more equitable and accessible arts and culture landscape across the Midwest.

Crystal comes from a family of makers that have encouraged her to create throughout her life. She is a jewelry and metalsmith, selling her work as well as teaching classes at the Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You can connect with her on LinkedIn or her website.

Crystal Celeste Price (ella) ha estado trabajando en Artes del Medio Oeste (Arts Midwest) desde 2022, como gerente de programas. Como gerente de programas y educadora basada en las artes, Crystal tiene más de una década de experiencia manejando proyectos internacionales y comunitarios.  Para dar unos ejemplos de las experiencias, Crystal participaba como artista en residencia en el Centro de Artes Rhee en 2012, organizó un proyecto de un mural en el Colegio Indigena Shiroles en 2016, y lideró El Programa Global de Intercambios Juveniles, en el Instituto de Artes de Minneapolis en 2020. En Artes del Medio Oeste, actualmente Crystal se encarga de los programas Concesión de Poseedor de Cultura del Medio Oeste, Caminando Juntos, Lideres de Color Nacionales and Camino de Jazz. Ella invierte tiempo en colaborar en programas regionales y nacionales con contrapartes internos y externos, pensando críticamente sobre el rol y la responsabilidad de intermediarios filantrópicos, y desarrollando recursos creativos con el propósito de crear un paisaje alrededor de la región del Medio Oeste de artes y cultura con más equidad y accesibilidad.
