Fiona Robinson (she/her) has been the Controller at Arts Midwest since May 2023. In 2012 she began working in public accounting, obtaining her CPA license in 2016. After several years in public accounting, she transitioned her career to focus exclusively on nonprofit finance, supporting numerous organizations in the Twin Cities area. Prior to joining the team at Arts Midwest, she served as Finance Manager at the Jungle Theater in Minneapolis, MN.
As Controller at Arts Midwest, Fiona is responsible for oversight of the organization’s financial systems, and to serve as a touchpoint between finance and other departments. She loves to help make often-intimidating financial reporting language feel accessible and understandable to those who need its data to support exceptional programming. Fiona is excited to use her talents and experience in a broad range of nonprofit environments to help advance Arts Midwest’s mission and support Midwest creativity in all its forms.
A little more about Fiona
When she isn’t busy crunching the numbers, Fiona can be found teaching flying trapeze at a local circus school, lifting heavy things for fun, riding bikes and camping with her family, or curled up with a good book or a knitting project.
