Arts Midwest is thrilled to announce that Jan Webb, Kendra Whitlock Ingram, and Kymm Martinez have joined the Emeritus Board after serving with distinction on Arts Midwest’s Board of Directors.

“We are so pleased that Jan, Kendra, and Kymm have agreed to join our Emeritus Board,” said Arts Midwest President & CEO Torrie Allen. “We have benefited over the years from the expertise, experience, and excitement they brought to their work on our Board of Directors, and I am grateful that we will not lose that as they step down from the Board.”

Jan Webb

Jan Webb first joined Arts Midwest’s Board in 2001. A lifelong Midwesterner, Jan has been committed to supporting the North Dakota arts community throughout her career. Jan was the director for the North Dakota Council on the Arts from 2000 to 2014. Prior to that, she was the director of a private, nonprofit art gallery for five years, and owner/operator of a retail art gallery and framing business for 12 years.

“Serving on the Arts Midwest Board for over 20 years has been a wonderful experience,” said Webb. “The amazing, professional people I have met—both Board members and staff—shared their knowledge and insights, adding to my own personal development. I’m looking forward to observing the continued evolution of this organization as a member of the Emeritus Board.”

At the end of this month, she will begin a new role as President and CEO of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Previously, she has held senior leadership positions with several major performing arts institutions across the United States.

“Although I’m moving back to the East, the Midwest will always be in my heart,” said Ingram. “Serving on the Arts Midwest Board has been an honor and I look forward to staying engaged with the organization as part of the Emeritus Board.”
