The National Endowment for the Arts has announced more than $32 million in arts funding to organizations nationwide! Recipients include organizations from all 50 states, DC, & Puerto Rico, as well as creative writing fellowships in prose & fellowships to support translation projects.

Ten organizations have been awarded a total of $150,000 as part of the Creative Midwest Media Cohort, a new year-long program facilitated through Arts Midwest’s Creativity News Desk. This initiative amplifies stories of arts, culture, and creativity in the Midwest.

Arts Midwest has launched a new Ideas Hub series that weaves together stories, conversation, and practical tools from thriving rural communities.

103 Midwestern organizations have received a total of $375,000 through the 2024 GIG Fund, a grant program from Arts Midwest. These awards will help organizations present artists and educational events in their community.

Through grants of $65,000 to $130,000 and peer learning opportunities, this new national initiative invests in organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to equity within their practices and programming.
