Actors’ Shakespeare Project will continue its expanded partnership with the Department of Youth Services in Year 3 of NEA-funded programming, featuring month-long intensive residencies in two MA juvenile justice facilities. Funding will be used to cover programmatic costs, primarily planning and contact time on site for our teaching artists, and structured preparation of DYS program staff to enhance adult collaboration with youth. Using theater as our vehicle, the company empowers DYS youth to express their unique voices.
