Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival produced a filmed, Zoom audio play of Shakespeare’s iconic drama, Macbeth, adaptation for audio by director Raz Golden as their Spring Shakespeare School Tour. This performance was available to schools on demand on Vimeo with closed captioning available and the lengths were approximately two hours. Synchronous virtual workshops were provided to students, along with an audio companion and an optional video of director Raz Golden discussing the play. Synchronous virtual workshops with teaching artists were available to schools as an companion to the performance. There were two different workshops available to schools that included warm ups and main exercises, including using the chat function and finding ways to engage those students who did not want to be on camera.
